**Employment Opportunity - Women, Infant, Children (WIC) Specialist - Full-time Non-Exempt**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides direct services in all community health programs, which include, but are not limited to WIC, immunizations, communicable disease, emergency preparedness, & other special programs & projects.
- Assist clients as needed with all programs both in person and on phone in all Community Health Services programs/services and refer clients to other needed programs both within the department and outside agencies
- Enroll clients in WIC and Family Case Management either in the office or at a home visit and assist with maintaining clinic flow.
- Responsible for payment/fees collections and all related paperwork.

**Schedule**:

- 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
- 11:00 am - 7:00 pm Tuesday.

**Benefits**:

**Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements**:

- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two years’ experience in a clerical position or any combination of experience, education, or training which would provide the level of knowledge, skills and ability required.
- Public health experience preferred.
- Valid Illinois Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass background check.

Pay: $43,680.00 per year
