Laboratory Technician/lab Assistant

**Role : Jr. Lab Tech**

**Location : Richmond, VA - 23236**

**Duration : 5 Months**

**Shift Timings : 4 PM to 12:30 am (Tuesday to Saturday)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Operation and maintenance of the Screening Instrument and initial review of data
- Knowledge of screening methods
- Troubleshoot issues with screening instruments
- Effectively complete work prioritized by department supervisor
- Adherence to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor information
- Adherence to all established guidelines outlined in Alere’s Employee Handbook
- Required Business Travel Requirements:
Travel to other domestic Alere offices may also be required

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

**Experience**:

- Laboratory: 1 year (required)

Work Location: On the road
