**Fine Gardener/ Horticulturist**

Artistic Grounds, Inc. is searching for an experienced Fine Gardener with a passion for horticulture to become a key contributor to our growing team Here at Artistic Grounds we are a full service landscape company and offer comprehensive custom landscape packages to a variety of clients. Our many long-term clients value our expertise, prompt communication and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Seasonal color installation and maintenance- Bed maintenance including weeding and pruning-
- Spring preparations and fall cutbacks-
- Rose care, composting, fertilization and deadheading-
- Procurement of annuals, perennials, and shrubs-
- Planter & bed design, vision and installations-
- Fertilization, insect, and disease management for ornamentals, annuals and perennials- Willingness to work with the homeowners of properties for overall quality of projects

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years fine gardening experience and attention to detail- Valid driver’s license and Medical Exam Certificate (DOT)-
- Ability to lead a team and work independently-
- Hand pruning and shrub trimming as appropriate-
- Working knowledge of horticultural best practices and plant management-
- Understanding of landscape/gardening design and color choices-
- Positive attitude-
- Ability to lift 50 pounds- Industry certifications desired but not required

**Pay**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
