The Order Selector fulfills customers' orders in a warehouse by operating a forklift or an electric pallet jack. The position is responsible for picking product, palletizing customer orders, and finally staging and loading the orders onto a truck for delivery. - Fulfill customer orders using a forklift or pallet jack - Project a friendly, professional image at all times - Prioritize multiple, competing priorities - Ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition; reports any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor - Operate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy - Ensure work area is organized, clean, and free of trash - Attend meetings as required
- Prior forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments
- Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment
- Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail
- Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Must be able to read and write English
- Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear
- Must be 18 yrs. or older to apply
