**Job Summary**:
As a Warehouse Equipment Processor in Aberdeen, Maryland, you will be responsible for picking, packing and processing and maintaining all warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Order Selection and Shipping:

- Operates cart or pallet jack to pick product orders (majority)
- Operates forklift, reach truck, or order picker to pick product orders (minority)
- Picks orders from designated locations as required per pick lists. Ensures all product picked matches pick list.
- Safely and efficiently organizes products into appropriate container and location for shipping process.
- Efficiently and thoroughly packs products to minimize damage.
- Prepares both company required shipping documentation per order and carrier manifests before product leaves premises.
- Inventory Control and Receiving:

- Loads/unloads freight from outbound/inbound carriers
- Alerts management of inventory discrepancies. Takes action to locate inventory and/or correct system.
- Performs cycle counts on a scheduled basis, records results and makes placement adjustments as necessary.
- Receives inbound product, makes labels and puts away in appropriate location.
- Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management.
- Keeps work area clean and organized. Actively participates in general warehouse cleaning and organization.
- Performs related work as apparent or assigned.

- At least 6 months of previous warehouse experience is necessary.
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Achieve designated performance objectives as assigned.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of and/or experience within the Lawn & Garden industry is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of Company personnel.
- Demonstrates Northern Tool + Equipment’s 12 Core Competencies.
