**Michael's on the Hill** is looking for enthusiastic Hosts to greet and seat our guests while supporting our already stellar team. Michael's is one of Vermont's most beloved fine dining establishment with a reputation for providing exceptional cuisine, hospitality and an inviting atmosphere.

All applicants should anticipate working evenings and weekends as well as standing for upwards of 6 hours in a shift.

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilizing our "Resy" reservation and seating program to coordinate seating configurations, server assignments and timing.
- Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
- Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
- Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting patrons to return.
- Greeting guests as they enter, and escorting them to their assigned table.
- Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
- Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.
- Retaining menus and ingredients to better answer customer questions.
- Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
- Providing great customer service.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
