Semiskilled Laborer

**THE POSITION**:
**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
This position performs various tasks related to maintenance, repair, housekeeping, grounds keeping, and other work for the facilities, lands, and infrastructure of the Ricketts Glen State Park.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Seasonal full-time employment. The season runs from approximately March through November at which the employee is placed on leave without pay until the following year.
- Typical work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 5 days per week, with a 30-minute lunch.
- We are a 7 day a week operation so hours may include other shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be available weekends and holidays as needed.
- ** Salary**:_ _**In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
- No health care benefits provided and no option to buy into group healthcare through the employer.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction;** or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Other Requirements**:
