**Position Summary & Location**:
Acuity Brands is hiring a Focus Factory Cell Leader in Carlisle, PA to help drive continuous improvement processes in alignment with our Better, Smarter, Faster operating system.
**This position works on site full-time from Carlisle, PA.**
**Primary Responsibilities Include**:
- Lead and help develop 20-30 hourly employees in Better Smarter Faster tools.
- Drives safety, quality, and productivity performance in accordance with BSF and End User satisfaction.
- Determines daily manpower and work assignments for employees to adjust for fluctuations in demand.
- May be scheduled on shifts and weekends without additional Leadership support.
**Qualifications**:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Technical or Bachelors' Degree is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment, preferably high volume and cellular is required.
- 2+ years previous Leadership experience in a production setting is required.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools and experience in leading Kaizens is required.
- Experience in problem solving, KPI bowler, Pareto charts and RCCM, communication and conflict resolution is required.
- Experience driving to a poka yoke process to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel.
- Able to read, write and speak English.
- Able to stand 10-12 hours per day, lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds frequently.
- Able to see, hear and comprehend in a noisy environment.
- Able to tolerate temperature ranges of 40 - 90 degrees F.
- Able to work other shifts and/or weekend hours.
