**Duties**:

- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with patients
- Monitor and record vital signs, as well as observe any changes in behavior or physical condition
- Administer medication under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques when necessary
- Implement behavior management strategies for patients with challenging behaviors
- Provide dementia care and support for patients with memory loss or cognitive impairments
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and techniques
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
