Utility Coordinator

**DESCRIPTION**
Our Harrisburg, PA office is seeking a Utility Coordinator to join our team
Duties will include:
- Provide technical expertise and utility coordination services for multiple projects.
- Work with each utility individually to develop a plan specifically tailored to meet the relocation needs of the project.
- Perform field visits.
- Schedule and attend project meetings.
- Determine cost responsibilities and develop necessary agreements.
- Provide project progress reports.
- Work closely with PennDOT, other design disciplines and the Utility Companies to ensure that utilities are relocated accurately and in coordination with the overall project and schedule.
**PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Five plus years of experience related to technical utility relocation coordination for major transportation projects.
- Experience with the Quality Levels of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and the process used to determine the appropriate level.
- Understanding of the methods of estimating costs involved in the relocation and installation of utilities.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong organization, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
- Interpret highway construction plans and specifications, design, and legal documents.
- Experience with PennDOT policies and procedures and the utility coordination process pertaining to the relocation of public and private utilities for purposes of roadway and bridge construction.
**COMPENSATION**
The approximate compensation range for this position is $31.00-$48.82 per hour in Harrisburg, PA. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
