**The Opportunity with McKinstry**

We are looking for a **Site Superintendent** to be a part of our growing Energy division in **Texas.** The Superintendent will ensure project success through on-site management of subcontractors and maintenance of client relationships. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:

- Developing and updating project schedules.
- Approving daily work tickets.
- Reviewing submittals.
- Setting up and tearing down job site logistics.
- Coordination of work with trades, subcontractors and vendors.
- Ensure all safety policies and paperwork are being adhered to on project sites.
- Writing and reviewing scopes of work.
- Assisting Project Manager with bid procurement.
- Managing and closing out punch list activities in a timely manner.
- Communication with field personnel.
- Develop and maintain logs and reports as required for project execution.
- Maintain daily logs of work performed by McKinstry and subcontractors onsite.
- Develop RFIs as required to document changes to the scope of work.

**What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry**
- Commercial General Contractor experience required.
- OSHA 30 certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of assuming position.
- Working knowledge of scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or Suretrak required.
- Knowledge of construction management, commercial building process, and OSHA standards required.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
- Four (4) years of leadership of trades and job sites preferred.
- BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture or Facilities Management or equivalent work experience preferred.

T_he pay range for this position is _$84,060 - $122,760 p_er year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered._
