Human Resources Manager (Temporary Contract)
JCR Services is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee all general areas of human resources.
responsibilities include managing turnover, recruiting, payroll and benefits administration; driving
positive employee relations; monitoring and ensuring compliance with the Company's legal obligations
as to the FMLA, ADA, EEO/Affirmative Action, Workers' Compensation, Unemployment and other
employment laws. Safety is also a key focus for the Human Resources Manager who is responsible for
ensuring that partners are trained on company safety policies and procedures and emphasizing a culture
support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on
strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning,
implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:
- Collaborates with local facility leadership to get input on HR decisions and ensures the delivery
of high-quality HR processes
- Supervises payroll and recruitment team
- Evaluates potential issues or service needs and formulates strategic responses
- Develops and implements facility-staffing strategies
- Demonstrates employee advocacy and develops a reputation as a neutral and approachable HR
professional serving all employees
- Mediates difficult employee relations and/or other interactions as a neutral party
- Leads talent management, employee development, and succession planning initiatives
- Designs (as needed), revises, and communicates HR policies and procedures
- Assures local facility complies with all federal, state, and local laws governing employment
- Measures performance in the areas of human resources and safety and presents information to
corporate management and customers
- Manages the employee’s performance evaluation and career development process
- Assists leadership team with budget formulation and management
- Designs programs and policies to cultivate a strong customer service culture in the HR function
- Provides value-added services including strategic management, leadership development, and
project management

- Responsible for all employee relations companywide: Manages and counsels’ employees on
work and non-work-related issues
- Recruit and Onboard new hires conduct performance management and provide feedback.
Manage Payroll and benefits for employees.
- Identify, qualify, and manage recruits in all human resources areas.
- Arrange for interview scheduling, travel, and accommodations as necessary
- Work closely with management on post-meetings follow-ups and next steps
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Stay on top of
changing national, state, and local employee legislation and policy enforcement laws
- Workplace safety: Ensuring a safe workplace
- Responsible for all Workers Compensation and safety related compliance
- Performance management: Documenting and evaluating employee performance
- Payroll processing
- Communicating with potential and current clients
- Conducts Disciplinary actions in a fair manner
- Other projects or duties may be assigned
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgment
- Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
- Experience with safety programs, compensation, benefits, recruiting, hiring and training
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
Preferred
- 7+ years' Human Resources experience
Human Resources Certification SHRM or PHR
Up to 25% travel to local facilities
The base salary generally ranges between $66,560.00/Year - $78,500.00/Year. This range is an estimate
based on an applicant’s skills and experience.
