We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Nurse to join our team. As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide specialized care and support to patients and their families during end-of-life stages. **Duties**:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients, focusing on pain and symptom management, emotional support, and comfort care
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care for patients
- Educate patients and families on disease progression, treatment options, and end-of-life care
- Assist with coordination of services, including home health aides, LVN, social workers, and chaplains
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in electronic medical records (EMR) system (Kinnser)
- Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout the hospice journey

**Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience in hospice setting
- Strong knowledge of infectious disease care and senior care principles
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Kinnser
- Experience in acute pain management and trauma medicine
- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans
- Familiarity with botulinum toxin treatment for symptom management
- Competency in specimen collection processing and laboratory procedures

Pay: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
