Lab Technician

**Clean Harbors** is seeking a **Lab Technician** for our **San Leon, TX** location. The position is responsible for the analysis and storage of samples. You will determine their chemical and physical properties using a variety of techniques and instrumentation.

- Performs analysis of facility samples using GCMS, XRF, ICP, and other analytical laboratory instruments
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed
- Properly manage waste generated because of analytical procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment that complies with all applicable OSHA regulations
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management

**What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?**
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a lab preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
- Wet chemistry and sample prep a plus
- Familiarity with instrumentation software
- Ability to document, record, and analyze data accurately
- MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Computer savvy
- Must have excellent communication and organization skills
- Able to work independently
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs and climb stairs
