Are you enthusiastic about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM)? Do you enjoy teaching middle school girls through engaging, hands-on projects?

Pink Space Theory is seeking a dynamic STEM instructor to teach students the principles of cosmetic chemistry and the basics of entrepreneurship to girls in an afterschool setting.

This role offers supplemental income and suits energetic, inspirational, and motivated individuals with experience managing groups of middle school-aged girls (11- 13 years).

As an instructor, you will foster curiosity and exploration in students, helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through exciting educational projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement our specialized curriculum to foster students’ analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Act as a STEM role model, inspiring a love of learning and scientific inquiry.
- Prepare for classes by thoroughly reviewing lesson plans and materials.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students.
- Collect data for grant performance tracking.
- Participate in staff meetings and report any behavioral issues.

**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor's degree in a STEM field or education is required.
- Proven experience in teaching chemistry or science to school-aged children.
- A positive, reliable, and adaptable demeanor with a genuine passion for education.
- At least 2 years of experience in leading children in hands-on, project-based learning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging various audiences.
- Must be at least 25 years old and have reliable transportation.
- Availability required from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at least one day per week.

**Job Types**: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week

Schedule:

- After school
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
