**The Position**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Administrative Support**:Provide support to our Insurance Department as well as general administrative assistance to various departments within the organization
- Work closely with clients and insurance providers to obtain authorizations for services.
- Verify insurance coverage and determine eligibility for services.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely submission of authorization requests.
- Maintain accurate records of authorization status and follow up as needed.
- Investigate and resolve claims denials in a timely manner.
- Identify trends and patterns in claims denials and implement strategies to reduce denials.
- Collaborate with the billing department to appeal denied claims and track appeals progress.
- Communicate with insurance providers to address claim issues and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and guidelines.
- Assist the billing department with insurance billing tasks as needed.
- Review billing reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the billing team to resolve billing discrepancies and address insurance-related inquiries.
- **Client Communication**: Communicate with potential clients, families, or vendors as needed
- **Data Analysis**: Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement. Some projects may require in-depth research.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of company and client information, systems, and processes
- **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices.
- **Team Support**:Provide assistance to clinical team members as needed or outlined by the Regional Site Coordinator (e.g., providing break support, assisting with locating materials, etc.)
**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in an administrative or operations support role is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications (Word, Excel, Google Drive, Sheets).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- Ability to maintain professionalism across all environments
- Ability to follow all company policies and procedures
- Ability to exercise discretion, demonstrate sound judgment, and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to consistently demonstrate independent decision-making skills
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
