**Primary Role**:
Help maintain a high level of production by maintaining the processing equipment, overhead cranes, and facilities according to manufacturer’s recommendations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Model the Pacesetter Way in daily job activities.
- Responsible for seeing that all oils, fluids and grease levels on all machinery are properly filled and changed when needed. Ensure that everything is being done, and priority is given to repairing equipment where production is affected.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and clean up behind every job.
- Maintain and repair all equipment and tools in the plant.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Inform all associates of any equipment and machinery that is not to be used or operated.
- Responsible for safety lock out to avoid anyone from operating faulty machinery while being repaired.
- See that all equipment and machinery is being safely operated.
- Communicate with the Service Center Manager on all needs to keep machinery in safe operation.
- Keep up with all tools and ensure they are being cleaned after each use and placed in a designated area.
- Record and maintain all breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance.

**Skills/Education Required**:

- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent working experience.
- Comfortable with computer programs utilized by Pacesetter Steel Service, Inc.
- Ability to work in a team environment and with diverse populations.
- Ability to work flexible hours and after-hours availability.
- Knowledge and understanding of basic electrical, basic mechanical, basic pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge as well as basic burning and welding.

**Skills/Preferred Qualifications**:

- OSHA knowledge preferred.
- Crane Certification preferred.
- Maintenance Technician experience in a warehouse/service center preferred.

Pay: $24.85 - $33.66 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
