**Work Shifts**:
ROTATING SHIFTS

**PART TIME 23 Hours per week**

(1) Conducts medication group, health education group, and co-lead community meeting.
(2) Functions effectively during Code Blue and other medical emergencies.
(3) Carry out physician's orders concerning therapy and medications.
(4) Assists in the supervision of non-professional staff.
(5) Ensures a safe and secure environment free of hazards through on-going environmental surveillance processes.
(6) Explains, involves and instruct patient/families concerning medication and treatment modalities.
(7) Utilizes the electronic as well as the paper medical record while maintaining patient confidentiality.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
1. A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State; and
2. Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
