Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to identify lead hazards, collect samples, and perform visual assessments accurately.
- Conduct lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments in accordance with EPA, HUD, and state/local regulations.
- Collect samples, perform visual assessments, and utilize specialized equipment to identify lead and/or mold hazards.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standard operating procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Communicating findings, recommendations, and project updates clearly and professionally to team members.
- Travelling to various locations as necessary to conduct on-site inspections and assessments, which may include early mornings and late evenings.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Proficiency in conducting X-ray fluorescence (XRF) testing and interpreting results.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and ability to travel locally and regionally.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, crawl in spaces, and perform various physical tasks such as standing, bending, squatting, sitting, kneeling, and climbing to access a variety of areas.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- EPA Lead Inspector License. (preferred)
- Experience creating hand-drawn layouts. (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish. (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Lead Inspector: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Spanish (preferred)

License/Certification:

- EPA Lead Inspector License (preferred)
- Driver's License (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
