Warehouse Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Shipping and Packing Clerk to join our team. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that orders are processed accurately, packed securely, and shipped promptly to our customers. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow established procedures are crucial in maintaining our high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction..

**Duties**:

- Check orders for cancellation on the proper marketplace and organize them in their designated places for processing.
- Scan parcels out and perform established shipment procedures to verify the accuracy and quality of picked products.
- Replenish stock materials at packing stations and prepare ice packs for the following shipping day.
- Photograph, pull, examine, and organize inventory as needed.
- Communicate supply needs to management to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Ensure parcels are dropped off at the post office on time daily and pick up parcels from UPS when necessary using company van
- Bring important information, such as hazards, infractions, or suggestions, to the attention of management.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the overall warehouse environment.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping and packing role preferred
- Previous experience in a small business setting preferred
- Must have valid drivers license
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain quality control standards.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and moving packages: Expected to lift 50-pound parcels daily
- Basic computer skills for scanning parcels and communicating with management. Familiarity Microsoft Suite

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Payment frequency:

- Paid semi-monthly

- Day shift
- Morning shift
