ABM Aviation, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions is seeking to hire **Floor Technician** at our **Dulles International Airport location.**
- **Shifts Available: Overnight**:
- **Working weekends is a MUST**
**General Responsibilities**:
As a janitorial service floor tech the purpose of the position is to be able to function as part of a specialized crew member to strip and wax all tile floors, burnish floors, buffing, shampoo/bonnet carpets which includes but is not limited to specific duties such as cleaning offices, bathrooms, vacuuming all rugs, mopping all hard services areas.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ALL MACHINES NEEDED ABOVE
**Job Qualifications**:
- MUST have previous tile floor stripping, waxing, and buffing experience
- MUST have previous carpet extractors and/or carpet buffing experiences
- At least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or equivalent
- People-oriented and highly motivated, with a positive and cooperative attitude
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge
- Good communication skills
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
**Experience**:
- Carpet cleaning: 2 years (required)
- Floor buffing: 2 years (required)
- Cleaning: 2 years (required)
- stripping and waxing floors: 2 years (required)
License/Certification:
- State issued Driver's License with clean driving record (required)
Shift availability:
- Overnight Shift (required)
Work Location: In person
