This location also provides services such as Blood Draw Lab, Imaging, Primary Care and Urgent Care/Fast Care.

**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a Full-time, 40-hour Practice Assistant II to support the Cardiac Testing suite at our multispecialty location onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Dedicated to administrative support, Practice Assistants serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as a super user for scheduling, registration, and billing systems. Provide training and assistance to others in these areas.
- May perform more complex or specialized functions (i.e. surgical scheduling) at highest competency level
- Utilize knowledge of HMO’s managed care and other first party insurers and troubleshoots insurance issues as appropriate.
- Assist with training and orienting staff as needed.
- Provide cross coverage checking in patients as needed.
- Assist with special projects as directed.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting
- High school diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Three or more years of customer service experience or experience in a hospital setting preferred. Must have good communication skills and at least moderate proficiency in keyboard skills.
