The Arc of Cape May County Thrift Store is seeking a part-time Thrift Store Associate I/Donation Ambassador. Part-time - Wednesday Thursday and Friday 9am - 5pm. The Thrift Store Associate I/Donation Ambassador is responsible for interacting with customers and employees to create a positive, friendly environment both in the store and at locations during a delivery or pick up of furniture donations. The associate maximizes sales by recognizing and accepting donations that are of high resale value, returning those items to the sales floor to achieve a neat, clean and organized store that represents The Arc brand. Maintains a cheerful, welcoming, and supportive attitude toward all customers, staff, volunteers, and donors to promote an inviting work and sales environment. Drives store vehicle in the local county area to transport donations to and from store to donors/customers. Assists in the moving and displaying of large donation items in the store to maximize sales. Previous experience in retail operations is preferred. Current driver's license valid in the state of New Jersey and driving record acceptable to insurance and regulatory requirements. Must be able to perform basic lifting of at least 50 lbs. and physical movement activities associated with furniture and merchandise placement.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
