Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant at ACES HOME HEALTH AND REHAB CLINIC

Job Summary:
As an Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant at ACES HOME HEALTH AND REHAB CLINIC, you will work closely with our team of experienced Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality care to our diverse patient population. You will assist in implementing customized treatment plans, conducting therapeutic exercises, monitoring patient progress, and providing support and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with Physical Therapists to execute treatment plans designed to meet individual patient needs.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.
- Monitor and record patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about exercises and home care techniques to support recovery and prevent injury.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of treatment equipment.
- Comply with all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Maryland.
- CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a rapport with patients and their families.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and empathetic approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
