Founded in 1954, Family Services of Westchester is a private, nonprofit, non-sectarian social services agency. Family Services of Westchester are seeking a Recreation Coordinator to join our team. As a Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing recreational activities for individuals or groups in a variety of settings.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate and develop community recourses for recreation, educational and vocational services.
- Schedule and implement daily recreation activities for youth, on & off site.
- Provide direct care supervision to youth in order to monitor, train and support positive gains in child activities of daily living
- Provide individualized care to each resident in a therapeutic milieu
- Prompt positive social interactions based on the individual treatment plan for each child and family.

**Requirements**:

- Associates of Arts with 2 years experience working in childrens residential or psychiatric setting
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years experience in recreation programming or related field
- Must have a valid drivers license
- **Must be bilingual**
