IT Business Analyst

Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated **IT Business Analyst** to join our team supporting our local government customers. **LOCATION**: Largo, MD

This is an on-site work requirement, and you will be expected to work from the customer office during core business hours of 8:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with high-level executives and leaders to understand business needs and priorities.
- Gather and document business requirements, analyze and evaluate existing IT systems and processes,
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance system functionality and efficiency
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance and provide training and support to end-users

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Management Consultant (CMC), or Project Management Institute Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrable good judgment and integrity.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**EDUCATION**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, operations management, or a related field.
