Job Summary:
Potentially travel to customer's facilities to run CMM programs or Program CMMs for customer's parts 50% of time

Perform extensive dimensional inspections in full capability dimensional inspection / metrology lab with Brown & Sharpe equipment

Program DCC-CMM using 2D drawings and 3D CAD models

Perform and prepare detailed reports with drawing maps for first article inspections, and a wide variety of other customer directed inspection protocols

Create work instructions and prepare for incoming inspections

**Duties**:

- Develop and write CNC programs for machining operations
- Utilize CAD software to design tooling and fixtures
- Conduct quality inspection using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product specifications are met
- Perform mathematical calculations to optimize machining processes
- Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in CNC programming and machining processes
- Mechanical knowledge to fabricate components accurately
- Experience with CAD software for tooling design
- Strong math skills for precise calculations
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices and tools
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for quality inspection

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Understanding of GD&T principles
- Previous experience in quality inspection
- Ability to optimize machining processes for efficiency

Pay: $80,182.00 - $84,835.00 per year
