Overview
:
Quinn is hiring a Hose Press Operator II.

Under the direction of the Parts Manager, the Hose Press Operator II will; handle all aspects of working Hose Press during regularly scheduled shift including placement, fabricate and release of hose assembly requests for customers, TEPS/AMD Dealers and Quinn Company employees. Develop, improve and maintain customer relationships. Utilize WMS and facilitate filling of orders as required. Pick parts orders for external customers and service department work orders. Process emergency parts orders using SIS Web and DBS. Stage parts destined for Will Call, Outbound, and Delivery or to another Quinn store. Assist with the receipt and location of new inventory. Operate Hose Press daily in manner to maintain at minimum Caterpillar Contamination Control Level 3 status. Keep assigned area of warehouse orderly and swept. Perform other general warehouse duties as required.

Additionally, the Hose Press Operator will at all times; operate all motorized units and company vehicles in a safe and appropriate manner, follow all safety policies and accident reporting procedures, maintain a neat, clean personal appearance, wear company provided uniforms and display a friendly, helpful and professional attitude towards customers, co-workers, supervisors and the company.

Wages
:
Starting wage will depend on experience and education. $19.50 - $24.10

**Responsibilities**:
:
Essential duties and responsibilities of a Hose Press Operator II include the following.
- Develop, improve and maintain relationships with Quinn Company customers. Utilize WMS and facilitate filling and release of parts staged in Will Call for customers, TEPS/AMD Dealers and Quinn Company employees using established criteria for both charge and COD customers. Greet customers entering Hose Press in professional and friendly manner. Maintain focused customer service attitude under stressful situations to ensure every customer experience is positive with demonstrated ability to use available service recovery methods when necessary.
- Pick parts orders for customer, shop, and branch requisitions in accordance with written performance standards, and in the order prioritized by WMS and/or Will Call attendant.
- Processing customer, shop, and branch backorders.
- Distributing all backorders to their intended destination or staging area in alignment with priorities of how items were shipped.
- Checking in new inventory. Verifying correct part and correct quantity are received. All discrepancies are noted in reports and successfully saved on share drive.
- Locating new inventory accordingly. Parts are carefully and neatly arranged with the part number facing outward. Any part found to be obviously out of location is returned to the correct location.
- Parts are removed from plastic bags with the exception of package quantities. Dispose of all trash generated or found.
- Occasional pick-up and delivery driving assignments.
- Housekeeping. Sweeping aisles, dusting cabinets, emptying trash, straightening bins and riser locations, or anything else deemed necessary by the Supervisor.

**Qualifications**:
:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Requirements

Work required number of hours per day/week - usually 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week.

Be prepared to work overtime with little or no notice in order to meet customer demand.

Be physically capable of: standing or walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, lifting 50 lbs., being exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, and normal hearing and speaking.

Possess the ability to operate: forklift, pallet jack, and manual transmission vehicle.Be dependable with regularity of attendance and punctuality at starting and break times. Absence or tardiness in excess of two days in one month, without compelling reason, are considered excessive.

Qualifications Preferred

Skills and Experience

Customer Service experience in construction or related industry

Meet Hose Press Operator I criteria

Hose Press or equivalent material assembly/disassembly experience and use of applicable tooling

SIS Web and DBS experience

Warehouse Management System experience

Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks etc.

Basic mechanical aptitude
