Host/hostess

Job Overview:
We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team as Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

**Duties**:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide menus
- Manage waitlist and reservations using Open Table system
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness of the host/host station and lobby area
- Assist with other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of guest services and food service industry practices
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional guest relations

Please note that all positions at our establishment are paid, including internship positions.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.90 - $21.56 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Shift:

- Day shift
- Evening shift

Weekly day range:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Open Table: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Oceanport, NJ 07757: Relocate before starting work (required)
