**Role Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Order Organization**: Organize and prioritize food orders according to ticket times and table numbers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in delivery.

2. **Food Preparation**: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as garnishing dishes and portioning sides, to facilitate timely service.

3. **Plate Presentation**: Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen are presented attractively and in accordance with our plating standards.

4. **Table Service**: Deliver food orders to the appropriate tables promptly and accurately, using tray service when necessary to transport multiple dishes.

5. **Customer Interaction**: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about menu items and accommodating special requests as needed.

6. **Quality Assurance**: Conduct visual inspections of food items to verify quality and presentation before delivering them to guests.

7. **Communication**: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food delivery and ensure seamless service.

8. **Cleanliness**: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food running station and dining area, clearing empty dishes and wiping down surfaces as needed.

9. **Teamwork**: Collaborate with colleagues to provide support during peak service periods, assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a food runner or similar role in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and do dishes as needed.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as part of a dynamic team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Chefs: 1 year (preferred)
- Culinary experience: 1 year (required)
- Cooking: 1 year (required)

- English (required)
