**ABOUT US**:
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
The concrete superintendent oversees the concrete construction projects and has the responsibility of supervising the concrete teams. The Superintendent ensures that quality work is being put into place, schedules are being maintained, and that the budget is followed as planned. Responsibilities are all-encompassing of the total supervision and training of all the concrete operations on the site to ensure that the workers are implementing what is designed, project is completed on time, and that safety and company standards are met. Concrete Superintendents work hand in hand with the General Contractors, Estimators and Project Managers to assure accurate and timely sequencing of the project. The Concrete Superintendent also coordinates on a weekly basis with the Field Operations Manager and Project Management for scheduling as well as successful project communication and execution.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Read, comprehend, and interpret blueprints/drawings
- Manage/Inspect all work, elevations, anchor bolt location and layout - daily
- Calculate, schedule and order material quantities needed for your project
- Ability to set up and use laser/optical surveying equipment and survey rods
- Ability to read a "linker rod" and read elevations in 10ths
- Review drawings and scope of work with the foremen
- Follow the plans, specs, schedule, and quote for each of your projects
- Double check elevation and anchor bolts prior to the pour
- Maintain a safe, professional, and organized job site at all times
- Schedule city inspections, material testing, and quality inspections
- Manage hourly employee activities and hours

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Physical
- Implement and enforce all company policies
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to drive a truck
- Must be able to be on their feet approximately 8 hours a day

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of construction/management experience
- Skilled at reading drawings/blueprints
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Valid CA driver's license and legally able to work in the USA

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
