Assembler - Distribution

Sort and deliver requested product from bulk racking skids for restock, orders, and department need request. Consolidate skids as needed to reduce underutilized skids.

**RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Scan Skids to determine part numbers and quantities.

Sort needs requests to new skids or carts.

Stage new skids and carts to be moved to their delivery location.

Stage original skids so forklift drivers can return them to bulk storage.

Move empty skid to staging areas or destroy them as needed.

Use the Warehouse Inventory System.

Consolidate partial skids.

Properly inventory skids and labeling.

**Other Job Functions**:
Keeps area clean and organized in a 5S manner.

May assists in training of other employees as required

Assists other department to run production when need it.

**QUALIFICATIONS - **To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literacy required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
