**Job Summary**
Monarch Resorts LLC is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to work directly in group sales for multiple sister properties. This position requires to work at the home office of Emearld Beach Hotel.
**Job Duties**
- Greet walk-ins and appointments.
- Assist with client site tours if needed.
- Send appropriate information to potential clients such as brochures, floor plans, menus, or photos.
- Create postmaster accounts for group billing.
- Accept deposit payments and post as needed into the PMS system.
- Obtain method of payment for each group.
- Verify posted banquet checks are correct and final billing is complete.
- Send finalized folios to client.
- Maintain Sales & Catering group files.
- Maintain office inventory including promotional items.
- Assist Sales Manager as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Hotel experience in Sales.
- IHG Hotels & Resorts experience (preferred)
- Excel & other Microsoft programs.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills sufficient to produce sales and marketing communication.
- Ability to communicate, delegate, organize and establish priorities consistent with department/hotel standards.
