Seeking a professional Event Coordinator for a full-time, in-person role at Austin Detours.

Your role is a big and important We are looking for someone to manage the execution of all our tours / events. You report to our Chief Operations Officer. You don't manage any people but you manage the execution of all our events This is a job for a jack or Jill of all trades You have to be fast, efficient, and like a busy work environment. On a daily basis you will juggle answering phones from tour guests, managing public tour execution, and especially prepping tours to make sure our guides are ready for success. This is anything from Scavenger Hunt kits to mini-olympics set-ups for big groups, food tour menus, and more. You will also work on-site at events: welcoming groups, getting tables set up at food stops, making sure everything is ready at our on-site events.

Here's a snapshot of the job:
**Inventory Management**
- Manage tour materials
- Managing tour material checklists / in-outs / ordering
- Maintain database of all materials and enforce guide accountability

**Event Management**
- On-site tour scouting / meeting groups on-site
- Organizing tour materials for every tour / event

**Operations Assistance**
- Working with the COO to assist with behind-the-scenes tasks

**Accounting Assistance**
- File receipts from office and tours
- Reviewing tour audits / closing out tours

**Public Tour Management**
- Creating and maintaining vendor relationships
- Communicating vendor needs with sales
- Planning tour stops for each tour

**Sales Support**
- Tour audits
- Communicating with sales on a regular basis to best execute their events
- Organized and efficient with time
- Holds a passion for behind-the-scenes magic-making
- Strong desire to contribute to a team
- Able to multi-task
- Comfortable with every day being different
- Service industry experience preferable
