Life Safety Morning Coordinator

**The SwimRVA Coordinator job duties**:

- Assist supervising a team of professional rescuers to ensure that all daily and weekly duties are satisfactorily performed.
- Inspect and carry out regular facility maintenance.
- Assist with regular operational checks of pool pumps, filters, strainers and chemical injectors.
- Assist with daily monitoring of systems (pool equipment, lighting, plumbing, etc)
- Keep accurate logs and records of daily and weekly duties, daily and bi-hourly chemistry checks, and daily shift reports.
- Setup, breakdown, and clean-up for events.
- Act as Manager on Duty during weekends on a rotating schedule with the expectation of working 2 shifts per month during meet seasons.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong desire to be helpful and solve problems
- Excellent communicator and collaborator
- Follow through approach to tasks and details
- Able to work non traditional times (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Valid Driver's License and ability to drive between multiple sites
- American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED and Emergency Oxygen
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
- or earn the certification in 90 days. We will train

**Salary/ Benefits**:

- Salary range _starting_ at $34,000/year or the equivalent of $16.34/hour. Salary will match experience and qualifications.
