Our company is seeking a** Registered Dietitian** for long term care nursing facility in **Melbourne, Florida **area.

**Registered Dietitian** **Summary of Job Duties**:

- Assess and monitors the Resident’s nutritional status, provide recommendations to medical staff, and develop adequate care plans.
- Evaluate the special needs of Residents regarding nutrition support, skin breakdown, and significant weight loss.
- Partner with the interdisciplinary team to review and adjust resident’s care plans.
- Work closely with Speech Pathologists to ensure appropriate mechanically altered diets are provided for residents with dysphagia.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

**Registered Dietitian** **Qualification**:

- One year of experience as a **Registered Dietitian** in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Nutrition or Dietetics as well as the completion of the accredited Dietetic Internship program.
- General clinical knowledge, knowledge of nutritional supplements and knowledge of therapeutic diets.
