**OVERVIEW**: This position is responsible for guest and customer service and creating a positive experience on the golf course while maintaining the speed of play. Reports to the Director of Golf Operations and/or the professional staff.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides exceptional guest service
- Follows policies, procedures and service standards
- Monitors the pace of play and courteously moves golfers along
- Works at the starter shack and starts golfers
- Drives around the course and ensures water coolers are full with ice and water for players during shift
- Provides fore caddying and assists golfers with bags
- Shuttles golfers as required
- Assists in searching for lost and found items
- Maintains facility cleanliness
- Assists the professional staff with tournament set-up
- Performing other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to be courteous and friendly to members and guests of the property providing exceptional customer service with the ability to develop relationships
- Ability to operate a golf cart and driving range picker
- Possess valid Driver’s License.
- Possess the ability to have a professional presentation
- Must have the ability to communicate with guests and respond to questions about the course in a friendly manner possessing a knowledge of golf
- Ability to enforce the rules of play with a positive attitude
- Possess the physical stamina to perform the duties of the job to include the ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 90 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, reach, bend at waist and perform repetitive hand, wrist and foot action, and withstand a range of outside weather conditions (heat/cold, rain/snow, etc.) as well as prolonged exposure to sunlight for 8 hour shift.
