The mission of West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is to ?Serve West Point and the Long Gray Line.? Our vision is to be the most highly connected alumni body in the world. WPAOG is both the alumni association and foundation for the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point. USMA is renowned as the world's preeminent leadership development institution. The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400, and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army.

The WPAOG is seeking a Part Time/Temporary Memorials & Archives Coordinator to support its Communications & Marketing (C&M) team. C&M serves the needs of WPAOG in all communications & marketing functions so that AOG can best serve our graduates and other constituents through effective, measurable and rewarding programs and services. This position will support our mission by producing and distributing meaningful content tour graduate population.

This position reports directly to the Director of Website & Online Services and will work collaboratively with our growing team of social media experts, content creators, website developers, strategists, and the editorial team.

The incumbent will coordinate and execute all processes pertaining to the graduate death notification system (DNS) and Be Thou At Peace posting on WestPointAOG.org, including researching and managing the accuracy of sensitive information from existing data and WPAOG?s CRM system. Act as point of contact (POC) for next of kin (NOK) and other family relations with regard to gathering information about the death of a graduate; prepare and distribute information to the various lists/databases that receive these notices; prepare and send condolences. Provide administrative support to the Memorial and Editorial teams, including, and not limited to scanning, filing, internal printing, preparation and distribution of memorial correspondence; miscellaneous communications & marketing support as needed.

An Associate?s Degree is required, 1-4 years related experience or high school diploma plus seven years of related experience. In addition, the incumbent must possess exceptional communication skills, verbal and written, and must be comfortable engaging with graduates and surviving spouses on a regular basis.
