**About us**

Groppi's Bay View, Inc. is a small Italian grocery store in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood.

Summary:
The “Deli Manager” reports to the General Manager and is a member of the “Management”

team. He/she is responsible for, including but not limited to ensuring that all “Management”

responsibilities listed below are met to the level of Groppi’s Customer Service and

Leadership Standards

**Responsibilities**:
“Deli Manager” responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, tasks and

objectives within the Groppi’s standardized best practice models and their respective

policies and procedures.

“Planning” Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

- Inventory Management: ensuring the constant maintenance of product

stock levels and quantities, and presentation.
- Shift Plan Preparedness: Creating and delegating the production plan for

any and all related products to include but not be limited to: paninis, bakery,

cheese, etc.

“Executing” Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

- Production: Overseeing the fulfillment of orders and assisting in order

fulfillment as necessary throughout respective shift.
- Environment: Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility by

meeting and/or exceeding the routine cleaning tasks and any other special/on
- demand cleaning tasks deemed necessary, to include but not be limited to:
bathrooms, facing store, cooking tools and utensils, etc.
- Service: Demonstrating and mentoring customer service standards with

prompt and positive engagement between customers and co-workers.

“Closing” Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

- Equipment & Tools Operation: Monitoring the proper shutdown and

cleaning of all equipment and related tools and resources used within each department, including but not limited to: dishes, pots, pans, utensils, surfaces, grills, ranges, cases, coffee, etc.
- Collection of Sales Revenue: Collecting all cash drawers from registers and

securely locking in safe.
- Facility Security: Ensuring all closing procedures are completed and all

facility doors are locked.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
