Furniture Repair Technician

**_Starting pay at $17/hr. _**_We offer competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and weekly pay to all of our Team Members.**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Reconstruct furniture, replace parts, and in some cases modify or rebuild missing parts.
- Inspects items according to instructions and reports damaged goods to supervisor.
- Comprehend all methods of repair for wood, upholstery, glass and assembly of RTA.
- Performs routine maintenance procedures as instructed.
- Maintain repair log and notify manager if item cannot be repaired.
- Maintain work area - be sure all chemicals are labeled, place all dirty rags in proper containers, be familiar with hazard communication and MSDS.
- Follows all safety rules

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Capability to operate equipment needed to do job
- Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team and communicate with all team members
- Minimum of 6 months experience in furniture repair
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, manual dexterity
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception
- Lifting of 100 pounds
- Ability to walk long distance on hard surfaces
- Ability to work under fluorescent lighting
- Climate effected by outside conditions.
- Considerable exterior noise
