Solar Technician

Cummings Properties is seeking an experienced solar maintenance technician to perform maintenance and installation of solar arrays on commercial office buildings.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on solar installations, ensuring system functionality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve solar system issues, including diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical components, wiring, and inverters.
- Collaborate with engineering, and installation teams to provide technical support and ensure project success.
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to commercial solar systems
- Use power tools and equipment to complete installations
- Connect wiring and perform electrical work as needed
- Perform fixture installation, including mounting brackets and racking systems
- Connect solar panels to electrical systems, including wiring and conduit installation

**Required qualifications**:

- Three years of experience preferred in solar energy, renewable energy, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of solar system design, installation, and maintenance principles.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as travel to various job sites is required.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
