Tree Climber/bucket Operator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tree Climber to join our team. As a climber with Dougs Tree Service you will be working with the best equipment that the industry has to offer. We are primarily a crane company so most days we crane climb doing multiple removals a day. Being well versed in rigging with spider legs and proper cutting is very important. We can train you into being an extremely skilled climber or advance you existing skills. This is a physically demanding role please understand this. We have trained many climbers over the years and can say honestly that everyone who has climbed with us has progressed extraordinarily.

**Duties**:

- Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and other climbing equipment
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees
- Remove dead or hazardous branches using appropriate cutting tools
- Operate spider lifts to reach high branches or perform aerial tree work
- Rigging and lowering limbs or sections of trees safely to the ground
- Provide recommendations for tree care and maintenance based on industry best practices
- Once climbing tasks are completed we work as a team to clean up all aspect of the job.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Tree Climber or similar role in the tree industry
- Proficient in climbing trees using ropes, harnesses, and other climbing equipment
- Knowledge of proper tree trimming techniques and pruning practices
- Understanding of rigging techniques for safe removal
- Crane climbing is a huge plus

**Requirements**:

- Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Cdl is a huge plus that will take preffrance
