Assembly Technician

Description:
As an **Assembly Technician** at Ag Express Electronics, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality wire harnesses and cable assemblies from schematics and wiring diagrams. Your effective communication skills will enhance cross-functional collaboration among production team members and allow for continuous improvement of harness fabrication processes. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring project success through meticulous documentation of work orders and upholding excellent customer service standards.
This is a full-time position located in Warren, Indiana.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Technical Expertise**
- Perform a wide variety of fabrication processes including wire marking, soldering, crimping, connector termination, and assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, with a dedicated focus on meeting cable assembly requirements.

- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by seamlessly adapting to new or challenging tasks and projects.
- Actively seek ways to support team success through the enhancement of fabrication processes and efficiency.

- Work both independently and collaboratively on all assigned duties.
**Documentation**
- Complete accurate documentation of cable assembly builds and work orders, keeping track of order status and overall project success.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in wire harness and cabling fabrication preferred.
- Experience interpreting cable wiring diagrams and schematics is advantageous.
- Knowledge of various wire harness tools is beneficial, including manual and pneumatic tools.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Seated Position: Remain in a seated position 50% of the time; alternate between sitting and standing.
- Mobility: Move about the office to access parts, including on high-level shelving, ascending/descending ladders.
- Lifting: Move up to 50 lbs. of equipment.
- Dexterity: Operate machinery for intricate cable and parts fabrication.
