Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring an **Engineering Strategy, Integration & Operations Director 2 **to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting our engineering organization. We are seeking a proven leader with a vision for operational excellence, technical acumen, and integration leadership experience. This leadership opportunity is in **Melbourne, FL.**

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of engineering strategies, ensuring seamless integration of engineering functions, and optimizing operational efficiency across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives and goals.
- Lead and manage a team of engineering professionals, providing guidance and support to drive excellence in performance.
- Drive operational efficiency by identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of engineering technology and practices.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on engineering-related matters.
- Oversee the development and execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related professional and/or military experience, OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related professional and/or military experience.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing engineering strategies that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge and experience in systems engineering, technology integration, and operational planning.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage budgets, resources, and timelines.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, with knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret clearance and must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, compliance standards, and quality management systems.
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and driving a culture of innovation.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

**Salary Range**:$197,500 - $296,300

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
