**We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business in Dedham, MA.**

**_In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:_**- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop_- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools_- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles_- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies_- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products_- Maintain own tools_

**_In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:_**

**_(Intermediate):_**- Completes complex internal engine repairs_- Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision_

**_(Advanced):_**- Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools_- Larger more complicated engine rebuilds_- Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation_

**Education, Licenses, Certifications**

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (preferred)

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

Locally valid driving permit (preferred)

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

**Experience**

Minimal level of work shop experience required

Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

This is a union position.

**This position will require a Med-Card and we will also be required to complete a DMV driving report. This position will be part of the FTA pool. CANDIDATE MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.**
- A current valid license is required for this role
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- 3 years driving experience
- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age.
