Pier Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- To manage staffing levels and positions according to plan and fulfil the needs of the operation
- To ensure transportation has been booked following manifests and special requests sent by Transfer Coordinator and shipboard team
- To coordinate and maintain close communication with shipboard staff to ensure all documentation and material required are provided before the start of the operation
- To monitor and adapt pier setup according per client protocols
- To communicate with Port Delivery Manager on the stock and conditions of all supplies, signage, uniforms, and other documentation required avoiding any possible lack of items
- To verify Pier Coordinators, Lead Agents and Staff have all necessary material and brief them accordingly taking into consideration each operation and specifics for our clients
- To observe and manage operations verifying timeline and milestones are respected, “Manage by Walking Around”, (MBWA)
- To supervise all staff, ensure Intercruises compliance standards (safety, uniform, customer service, etc.) are adhered to
- To keep constant communication with Port Delivery Manager, Shipboard Team, Customs Border Protection (CBP) and other stakeholders (Port Agent, Porters)
- To send regular updates to our Client and IC Management Team on the development of the turnaround day
- To make decisions and resolve any not planned problems to avert complaints
- To complete and carry out execution of logs and reports
- To evaluate performance of operations with stakeholders, check ratings and propose changes for improvement
- Other duties may be assigned
