**Overview**:
The Bid Lab is searching for a Proposal Manager with a passion for helping small and medium-sized businesses. The ideal Proposal Manager is a team leader, but also a team player. This individual will collaborate with our clients to guide them through the bid process from beginning to end. The role requires the Proposal Manager to successfully drive RFP responses by communicating with our clients and strategically navigating them through their RFP response.
The Proposal Manager is supported by a team of compliance specialists, writers, editors and designers, and is ultimately responsible for submitting a responsive bid, on time. This means a high degree of managerial proficiency will be required to be successful in this role. We are looking for an individual who focuses on solutions, not problems.

Unlike other proposal and project management positions, The Bid Lab provides a bonus structure that accounts for both a) the volume of bids submitted and b) the number of winning submissions.
**Responsibilities Include**:
- Managing a substantial number of proposals for clients
- Developing substantive and persuasive responses to unique or challenging proposal questions while maintaining compliance with policy
- Going through bid requests in detail, noting all response requirement deficiencies
- Scheduling and working with clients to accommodate their schedules
- Tracking gaps in the proposal and working with clients and our internal writers to complete content creation
- Creating a project management timeline for completion
- Working diligently to meet deadlines
- Communicating efficiently with the team
- Managing multiple projects and schedules simultaneously
- Researching bid-specific, client-specific or industry-specific information
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar position (previous RFP experience)
- Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
- Ability to successfully work in a remote environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with Google Suite of Workspace apps
- Deadline-driven work ethic
- Diverse industry experience preferred
- Adobe experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Sense of humor is a plus
