JOB TITLE: Material Handler

DEPARTMENT: Distribution

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

EFFECTIVE DATE: 2/08/2024

SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to maintain distribution of product by picking, packing, and sorting orders from our own inventory and trailer delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for accurate and safe shipping and receiving of swimming pools and related merchandise.
- Assists in inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels; participates in form inventory process on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Maintains control of all assigned company property and ensures that equipment is maintained in safe operating condition at all times.
- Order selecting, loading and unloading trailers, and small shipment packaging.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Will provide training on all powered equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Warehouse, forklift, and pallet rider experience preferred.
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Needs to be extremely punctual. Being able to manage your time effectively is critical to be successful in this role.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions.
- Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.

Pay: $16.75 per hour
