**Schedule**:2-weeks Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (In-class) and 2-weeks Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (Clinical)**

**Job Summary**: The phlebotomy apprentice will develop competency in and demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of a phlebotomist. The training will include learning about laboratory equipment, proper handling methods of blood and urine specimens, anatomy and physiology, and blood-drawing techniques utilizing needles and other collection methods.
- Program participants will be hired on as a FH Phlebotomy Apprentice and will be paid for all class time.
- The classroom portion includes two week in-person, with class times from 8:00a.m. - 4:30 p.m., weekdays only.
- Clinical portion will be two weeks 6:00a.m. - 2:30p.m.
- Perfect attendance is required for successful completion of the class.
- Class participants must pass pre-employment Froedtert Health pre-employment checks, which may include a criminal background check, health assessment and drug screen, as well as verification of our required vaccinations.
- After successful completion of the training program, you’ll be eligible to work in Froedtert Health Phlebotomy Services.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with computers.
