League Coordinator

Description:
**Position Summary**:
The League Coordinator is responsible for organizing and maintaining all data associated with the Bowling Leagues, to include coordinate league and tournament participation and all related activities. They will follow our company’s core values of Spirit, Courage, Own It, Respect and Excellence. In addition, the League Coordinator will work regular job functions at the bowling desk.

**Responsibilities**:

- These requirements/functions may change over the course of employment.
- With Spirit promotes leagues both in-house and externally for assigned center and assure that there are a variety of leagues signed up (fun leagues, competitive leagues, adaptive leagues).
- Creates in-house tournaments and promotions to enhance the league experience.
- Show Respect by maintaining communication with league officers and facilitate and maximize league participation each season.
- Use Courage while working closely with League Officers concerning any problems or situations that may arise over the course of the season.
- Publish, maintain, and distribute accurate schedules and flyers in a timely manner.
- Assure that all leagues are being entered into the BLS systems and scores are being accurately tracked. Own It.
- Maintain accurate and complete league financial records to include:

- Verify Prize fund amounts on monthly/period basis.
- Keep up with non-guaranteed leagues’ payments for post-bowls & pre-bowls.
- Maintain accurate records of league scores and standings.
- Assure that leagues know and are following house and league rules.
- Organize, distribute and track league awards.
- Attend League meetings as a Representative of the bowling center to answer any questions concerning the league rules, scheduling, or any topic of concern.
- Organize and oversee league bowler tournaments.
- May assist venue Managers in normal office duties.
- Fill in at Bowling Desk when needed.
- Consistently makes every guest feel welcome and important by showing guests your Spirit and respond to their needs efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in league bowing as an officer or team member.
- Shows Excellence in being knowledgeable of USBC rules, league rules, scoring and prize fund management.
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
- Must have the capacity to make “on the spot” decisions and be accountable for them.
- Must excel at problem solving and attention to detail.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
- Must be able to work varied hours, to include weekends and evenings.
